Fly Into a New Dawn of Accelerated Analytics

Technical Overview

LakeView

Perseeva LakeView is a powerful solution that empowers organizations to tap into the full potential of their data, offering valuable insights, optimizing operations, and reducing costs across an array of use cases. The LakeView platform collects and normalizes a vast amount of live data from industrial assets and makes it available for operational technology applications.

It can be a challenge to organize, prioritize, and operationalize an array of data from a myriad of vendors. Even though vendors may use a common protocol such as BACnet, sharing data across various systems presents a challenge for many organizations. Another challenge is where to aggregate the data whether it is in a local data lake or cloud storage and in what format the data can be accessed.

LakeView supports the BACnet protocol which is a data communication protocol for building automation and control networks. It is an open standard that is supported by a wide range of manufacturers. BACnet devices can be used to control a variety of building systems, including HVAC, lighting, security, and fire safety.

Benefits

Whether commercial (offices, retail stores, and hotels) or government buildings (schools, airports, and libraries), healthcare facilities, industrial facilities, or data centers, BACnet data can be collected for analytics and application integration.

The BACnet data can be stored in CSV, JSON and XML formats.

The BACnet data can be made available for use in a variety of methods:

  • APIs: APIs (application programming interfaces) can be used to provide access to BACnet data to other applications. For example, a building management company could use an API to provide access to BACnet data from its customers' buildings to a third-party energy efficiency company.

  • Data portals: Data portals can be used to provide users with access to BACnet data in a web-based interface. For example, a utility company could use a data portal to provide its customers with access to BACnet data from their homes and businesses.

  • Digital Twin: A digital twin is a virtual representation of a physical object or system. Digital twins can be used to simulate the behavior of physical systems and to predict their performance under different conditions. BACnet data can be used to create and update digital twins of buildings and factories.

  • Test New Control Strategies: BACnet data can be used to test new control strategies for systems in a virtual environment before they are implemented in the real world. This can help to reduce the risk of problems and to improve the performance of systems.

  • Optimize Performance: BACnet data can be used to optimize the performance of  systems by identifying and correcting inefficient operating conditions.

  • Predict Maintenance Needs: BACnet data can be used to predict when systems are likely to fail. This can help to prevent costly downtime and repairs.

Deployment Model

LakeView deploys seamlessly within Docker containers, ensuring easy integration with your existing routing and switching infrastructure that host compute, or a dedicated server that can be strategically positioned in the network. This deployment model minimizes downtime, simplifies implementation, and facilitates a hassle-free setup process.

Perseeva LakeView unlocks the latent value within your BACnet data, offering real-time insights, automation, and optimization across various use cases. By harnessing BACnet data and storing it in different file formats, organizations can enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, improve security, and promote sustainability, all while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
